I would think so? But I can say for sure. It is a light weigh metal of some sort. I think the small hanging rod would probably scrape off the color but the rest should be fine. good luck :-)

I really don't know. It would probably mount in a shower if installed properly. Never hung Wet beach towels on it, but I have hang 2 pair of wet blue jeans and it did fine.

Put screw in the top location as tight as you can and yet still get the unit on it, then mark and drill the bottom you can tighten the bottom as much as you want using a #3 Philips, right through the slot. Hope this helps, wife loves hers!

If you drill the hole for the top screw first, attach the hanger and then drill the hole for the bottom screw, it works great.
